Porters Lake Soccer Club is your home for Soccer on the Eastern Shore

The kids in our communities grow up outside - running, swimming, skating, building, biking and playing just about every ball sport there is!  This translates into young athletes eager to play with their friends in their own communities and to proudly represent The Shore every chance they get!

Every summer, Porters Lake Soccer introduces hundreds of pre-schoolers to movement skills and often provides their first team experiences through our popular Timbits Mini Soccer program.

This weekly program is based on the ABC's of movement - Agility, Balance and Coordination - and introduces soccer related skills gradually in a fun, creative and game-focused environment.  More soccer skills are added as the game grows from Active Start (U4-U5-U6) to the FUNdamentals stage (U7/U8).

Fast forward a few years as these little kickers develop into soccer-loving, sunshine-fed athletes who love the challenge, creativity and camaraderie of the soccer pitch!  U9 and U11 players embrace the Learn to Train stage of skill development and enjoy friendly competition in summer house- or community-based leagues.

Youth players U12 - U18 become more committed to the game and enjoy the progression from half-field to full-field play.  They now have the option to play year-round with PLSA as we offer both summer and winter league teams for these divisions. Our teams compete in the NS Soccer League based in HRM and typically find a good balance of challenge and success in the A or B divisions of play.

PLSA has achieved the QSP designation (Quality Soccer Provider) from Soccer Canada and is committed to player safety, respect in sport, equality and inclusion.  Our volunteer coaches are the heart of our Club and we can't operate without them!  Join us in thanking a Coach, Assistant, Manager, Organizer or other Volunteer today!
